WL Heavy-Duty All Metal Limit Switch

A cast aluminum limit switch built for foundries, cutting lines and crane runways. One lever stroke drives two independent circuits, so a single switch feeds the control loop and the safety loop at the same time.

WHAT MAKES THE WL SERIES

Built for foundries, cutting lines and crane runways.

One-Piece Cast Aluminum Shell

The outer shell is cast aluminum, poured as a single rigid body. It absorbs the knocks, dust and vibration that foundries and crane runways deal out every shift.

Sealed Against Oil, Water And Pressure

The housing structure blocks oil, water and external pressure at the same time, and the whole unit holds an IP66 rating. Cutting-fluid spray and washdown stay outside the enclosure.

Four Actuator Families On One Body

Roller levers, sealed plungers, spring rods and fork levers all mount on the same cast body. One series covers vertical strikers, sweeping cams and multi-direction triggers.

Double-Spring Contact Stand

The built-in contact stand works on paired springs rather than one. Contact pressure stays even across a long mechanical life, and one actuator stroke switches both circuits together.

Setting Position Indicating Plate

An indicating plate on the body marks the set operating position. Maintenance staff confirm the setting at a glance, so routine checks and resets take minutes.

M20×1.5 Conduit Entry As Standard

Every model ships with an M20×1.5 cable gland. Wiring lands on a standard thread size that installers already carry in the van.

The dual-circuit layout means one WL can report position to the PLC and trip a safety relay at the same moment. See how we configure this on the custom engineering page.

WHERE WL FITS

Two signals from one lever, in the harshest stations.

Crane & Hoist

One lever stroke reports travel limit and trolley position to two separate circuits at once. The cast shell tolerates outdoor gantries and constant vibration.

Elevator Systems

Final limit protection at the hoistway ends. The double-circuit block lets one switch serve the control panel and the safety chain together.

Automated Parking

Carrier and lift position detection across multi-level platforms. IP66 sealing keeps oil mist and wash water clear of the contacts.

QUICK MODEL SELECTION GUIDE

Match your actuation conditions to a model.

01

Vertical striker actuation

The striker travels straight down onto the switch head. Sealed and roller plungers take the vertical approach, and the WLD3 universal head accepts off-axis hits.

02

Cam or striker sweeps a lever

A cam or striker crosses the head from the side and swings the lever. Roller levers cover fixed setups, while adjustable and rubber versions tune the engagement point.

03

Large runout or multi-direction triggers

The target bounces, overshoots or arrives from changing directions. Spring rods trigger at a light 1.47N and forgive wide alignment error.

04

Two-way fork lever reset

Motion arrives from both directions and the lever reverses between strokes. The fork roller lever handles each sweep with a defined reverse pretravel.
